How to determine the amount of precut
Fence & Border Guard material:
  1. Determine the Fence & Border Guard width necessary for the project.
  2. Measure distance between fence posts.
    (distances may vary depending on fence installation)
  3. Subtract 2 to 4 inches from fence post distance to ensure proper overlap between Precut Post Protectors and Precut Overlap pieces.
  4. Count the number of fence posts.
  5. Identify the hole opening sizes and shapes (round or square) for the Precut Post Protection pieces. (Examples: 2" diameter,
    4" x 4" square, etc.)


    Round and square post centers can be custom cut to your specifications.
