Installation Tips

Installation of Weedseal TM Fence and Border Guard is an easy process. The following Tips will help you get the job done fast and accurately. You will get the best results using long continuous runs of the Fence and Border Guard. This can be achieved by measuring the distance between the posts, and marking the centerlines for cutting clearance hole for the posts.

Always use the safety recommendations provided by the tool manufactures. The sun will quickly assist the Fence and Border Guard to conform to the landscape and help bond the sections together.

The installation shown below is typical of most fence applications. For square posts, cut a square post opening with a utility knife to ensure a snug fit. Installed correctly, Weedseal™ Fence and Border Guard will give you years and years of weed-free performance.

Measure length between posts and mark centerlines.
2.
Carefully cut the material using a sharp utility knife and a straight edge
3.
Peel away plastic backing and discard.
4.
Using a hole saw, drill a hole for each fence post, keeping on center. Use an appropriate size for the post diameter.
5.
Create a slit which will allow for fitting around the fence post.
6.
Make sure cuts are clean and accurate for best fit.
7.
Fit around each post and snug in place. For best results, use continuous run material.
8.
Center the material under the fence.
